First of all, thank you so much for this opportunity to come and learn! I have been working towards attending for the last two years and now, it will finally happen. Below is a brief biography with attached picture; please feel free to edit as necessary. I am a happily married, mother of four who spent most of my career in the restaurant industry until I was 36, four years ago. My last job as a manager was so disappointing and frustrating that I came home, told my husband that I put in my notice and signed up for massage school! Luckily, he agreed and supported me fully. After graduation, I worked in a spa while trying to find my ideal clientele. I eventually started working with Angel Services as an IC and get the pleasure to work with people with special needs and those who need massage as part of there therapy. I also get the ability to grow my regular clientele as I see fit. With my family's support, I have been able to take "my hobby" to a full fledged career that can support my family if needed. I will be using my new knowledge from the festival to move my focus to support my kids' athletic dreams as well as start to work more with injury patients (accidents).
