Dale G. Alexander
2023 Massage Therapy Hall of Fame Inductee

/>
Dale G. Alexander PhD MA BSEd LMT, has had a Clinical Massage Therapy practice in Key West, Fla. since 1980. In 2020 he opened another clinic in Lake Worth Beach.

Dale is the author of the Inside-Out Paradigm. This is an anatomically based approach that invites you to organize your treatment strategies toward improving physiological and movement efficiency. His first advanced training as a bodyworker was oriented to the 10-session format of unraveling the fascial matrix from the outside toward the inside pioneered by Ida Rolf PhD. He also was fortunate to study CranioSacral Therapy with Drs. John Upledger, Visceral Manipulation with Jean Pierre Barral, and Muscle Energy Technique with Richard Macdonald, all Osteopathic physicians. Another major influence which continues to this day has been studying with Lansing Barrett Gresham, Founder of Integrated Awareness whose comprehension of developmental movement, energetics, and neurophysiology is exceptional.

However, it has been Dale's clients who have revealed to him the typical progressions of the aging process that underlie the chronic problems your clients present to you daily. His courses will reveal the secrets of these progressions to you. He is Board Certified by NCBTMB, a Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapy Educator, and was named CE Provider of the Year for 2016 by the Alliance for Massage Therapy Educators.

It is his desire to spend the rest of his life teaching and working with people who suffer with chronic difficulties such as heart failure, anxiety and panic attacks, joint degenerations of the hip, knee, and shoulder, TMJ troubles, and those struggling to recover from illness or trauma. This last category now includes the Post Covid-19 Long Haulers.

The Inside-Out Paradigm© - An Introduction to The Aspiration to Prevent Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Replacements
4 CE Hours

Class description:

During This 4 Hour Course You Will Learn:
  • The "Sacs and Tubes Theory of Stress"
  • The biomechanics of how each joint moves
  • Hip and shoulder have an innate evolutionary pre-disposition for slipping
  • That to help the knee, one must begin with the hip
  • That there is a fascial linkage between the shoulders, hips, and knees
  • That many chronic low back conditions can be helped by attention to these joints
Techniques Will Be Demonstrated and Practiced That:
  • Reduce a Righting Reflex that often contributes to these degenerations
  • Assist the femoral and humeral heads to "recapture" their joint space
  • Reduce the systemic congestion that accompanies such degenerations
America's aging population wants to stay active!!!

We can help them if we have the skill sets and the awareness of how to recognize the early, middle, and even later stages of these 3 most common joint degenerations.

Approximately twice as many knee replacement surgeries are performed each year in contrast to hip replacements, 719,000 vs. 332,000 (2010) and typically 53,000 shoulder replacements are done each year.

What an amazing contribution we might make as a profession if we could reduce those frequencies even by a small percentage. Moreover, imagine the human suffering we might ease to assist clients to improve their function as well as to reduce their pain. And, consider how our profession's image might be transformed as we assist the quality of life for our country's baby boomers.

It is estimated that 1 million people will turn 65 every 365 days for the next 10 years. Ten million people seeking a more active and healthier lifestyle is a significant demand that we have the opportunity to provide a supply for if we have the training and understanding to do so. That is what this introductory presentation aspires to offer you.

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR PERFUME, COLOGNE OR ESSENTIAL OILS TO CLASS.
