Our Purpose<\/strong><\/p>

The World Massage Festivals Hall of Fame exists to honor individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the global massage and bodywork community. We are committed to preserving the integrity, professionalism, cultural richness, and healing intent of massage in all its forms.<\/p>

This Code of Conduct and Community Values applies to all inductees, nominees, organizers, presenters, volunteers, partners, and attendees connected to the Hall of Fame and its affiliated events or platforms.<\/p>

    We honor the inherent worth of every person. All interactions must be rooted in mutual respect, courtesy, and professionalism, regardless of nationality, culture, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion, or professional background.<\/p>

      Massage and bodywork are founded on trust. Clear, informed, and enthusiastic consent is essential at all times. We uphold firm personal and professional boundaries and respect the right of anyone to say no, change their mind, or withdraw consent without pressure or consequence.<\/p>

                  Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in corrective action, including warnings, removal from events, revocation of Hall of Fame recognition, or permanent exclusion from community participation.<\/p>

                  Reports of misconduct will be taken seriously, handled with discretion, and reviewed in alignment with principles of fairness, safety, and respect for all parties involved.<\/p>

                  The World Massage Festivals Hall of Fame is committed to upholding its Code of Conduct and Community Values in a consistent, fair, and transparent manner.<\/p>

                  When a potential violation is reported or observed, the organization reserves the right to initiate a review process. This may include gathering information, speaking with involved parties, and consulting relevant witnesses or documentation.<\/p>

                  Possible Disciplinary Actions<\/strong><\/p>

                  Depending on the severity, frequency, and nature of the violation, disciplinary actions may include, but are not limited to:<\/p>

                  • Verbal or written warnings<\/li>
                  • Required education, training, or corrective measures<\/li>
                  • Removal from specific events or activities<\/li>
                  • Suspension of participation or privileges<\/li>
                  • Revocation of Hall of Fame status or recognition<\/li>
                  • Permanent exclusion from Hall of Fame\u2013affiliated events, platforms, or honors<\/li><\/ul>

                    Serious violations\u2014particularly those involving harassment, abuse, exploitation, fraud, or breach of consent\u2014may result in immediate action without prior warning.<\/p>

                    Reporting & Review Process<\/strong><\/p>

                    Reports of misconduct may be submitted by participants, organizers, volunteers, or members of the public through designated reporting channels.<\/p>

                    All reports will be:<\/p>

                    • Taken seriously<\/li>
                    • Handled with discretion and confidentiality where possible<\/li>
                    • Reviewed in good faith and without retaliation<\/li><\/ul>

                      The World Massage Festivals Hall of Fame retains full discretion in determining outcomes, while striving to act with fairness, cultural sensitivity, and respect for all parties involved.<\/p>

                      Reapplication & Reinstatement<\/strong><\/p>

                      Individuals who have been suspended or had recognition revoked may, in certain cases, be eligible to apply for reinstatement.<\/p>

                      Reapplication Considerations<\/strong><\/p>

                      Reapplication or reinstatement may be considered when:<\/p>

                      • A defined period of time has passed<\/li>
                      • Responsibility for prior actions has been acknowledged<\/li>
                      • Demonstrated behavioral change, education, or remediation has occurred<\/li>
                      • Reinstatement does not compromise the safety, integrity, or trust of the community<\/li><\/ul>

                        Reinstatement is\u00a0not guaranteed<\/strong>\u00a0and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The decision of the World Massage Festivals Hall of Fame review body is final.<\/p>

                        Agreement & Acknowledgment<\/strong><\/p>

                        Participation in World Massage Festivals Hall of Fame activities\u2014including nomination, induction, attendance, partnership, or representation\u2014constitutes agreement to abide by this Code of Conduct and Community Values.<\/p>

                        By engaging with the Hall of Fame, individuals affirm that they:<\/p>

                        • Have read and understood this Code<\/li>
                        • Agree to uphold its values and standards<\/li>
                        • Accept accountability for their conduct<\/li>
                        • Understand that violations may result in disciplinary action<\/li><\/ul>

                          This agreement applies across all Hall of Fame\u2013related events, communications, online platforms, and affiliated spaces.<\/p>
