Since 2006, the World Massage Festival has brought together massage therapists and bodywork professionals from around the world for hands-on continuing education, the American Massage Championships, and a week that regulars describe as a family reunion. We built it to honor the pioneers of massage therapy, and to give working therapists something warmer than a corporate trade show. Twenty years later, that’s still the difference.
The next World Massage Festival runs July 25–30, 2027 at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, with the American Massage Championships July 23–25.
Here is a breakdown of what makes up the festival:
1. Continuing Education & Workshops – The education is why most therapists come the first time. You’ll find up to 24 hours of NCBTMB approved hands-on CE classes and workshops taught by respected educators from around the world. You’ll be able to learn ethics, new modalities, refinements to technique, approaches you can use on your first client back.
2. The American Massage Championships – WMF hosts this national competition in partnership with the International Massage Association. Therapists compete live across categories including clinical, eastern, and sports massage and then judged on technique, ergonomics, flow, and innovation. It’s the rare chance to watch excellent bodywork happen in real time.

3. Networking & Community – Unlike typical corporate conferences, the WMF is widely known for its warm, “family reunion” atmosphere. It brings together a global community of passionate healers, from students and solo practitioners to school owners and spa directors, allowing them to share stories, collaborate, and build lifelong friendships.
4. The Exhibit Hall & Vendors – Try before you buy. Manufacturers and industry brands bring tables, tools, lotions, and equipment to the floor, with demonstrations running throughout. Put your hands on it, ask the person who made it, then decide.
5. How it Works (Registration) – We offer two packages.
One-Time Entry/Table space ($650): Gives you access to as many classes and events as you want for that specific year.
Freedom Membership ($1,500): A lifetime membership that covers your entry and class fees for all future festivals. If you attend three festivals, it’s paid for itself. (There is additional mandatory $150 table rental fee per event.)
All sales are final. Registrations and Freedom Memberships are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Each registration is assigned to one named attendee at the time of purchase and cannot afterward be sold, gifted, or transferred to another person.
