REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

FREEDOM REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. All cancellations for regular registrations must be made in writing via email to the World Massage Festival. An administrative fee of $200 is assessed on all cancellations dated no later than December 15, 2023. An administrative fee of $300 is assessed on all cancellations postmarked no later than January 31, 2024. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER JANUARY 31, 2024. To qualify for a refund, all cancellations must be submitted via email to: festival@worldmassagefestival.com

Registrations may not be transferred from one person to another. Registrations may not be "gifted" to someone else. Vendor registrations by franchises or companies may not be transferred from one franchisee or one company owner to another.

REGARDLESS OF THE REASON, NO refunds or transfers will be issued for ANY registration already forwarded to the 2024 WMF from 2023. There will be no refunds or transfers from 2019, 2020 or 2021 registrations. Those were transferred as far as the 2022 Festival and will go no further.

If you have selected, upon registration, to pay for your registration in payments, keep in mind: Payments are to be made in CONSECUTIVE months, due on the date in the monthly invoice you receive. If a payment should go 3 months past due, the World Massage Fetival reserves the right to cancel your registration for non-payment, with any refunds to be given based on the information listed above. If you have past due payments and any of the classes you registered for fill up and have a waiting list, you will be removed from that class so that someone who has paid on time may take the class. Placement in classes is NOT confirmed until payment in full is received.

In the event the World Massage Festival is canceled due to fire, strikes, government regulations, acts of God, or if a scheduled instructor does not appear in class due to an unexpected delay, or absence and we are unable to find a replacement in time that may end up with a cancelled class, or any causes beyond the control of the World Massage Festival, the World Massage Festival shall not be held liable for failure to conduct the Festival as scheduled. The World Massage Festival will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by attendees and will determine the amount of refunds, if any, based on the above information.

The World Massage Festival and its producers and owners reserve the right, at its sole and complete discretion, to deny entry to our event, revoke the entry to our event, deny acceptance of any registration at any time, and/or to disqualify any individual or company from attending the Event.

The World Massage Festival and its producers and owners reserve the right, at ts sole and complete discretion, to cancel any published workshop, at any time. All registrants expressly waive any claim for damages arising from the cancellation of a class.

By registering for the World Massage Festival or the American Massage Championships, you agree that photos or video of you become public property when taken at the World Massage Festival or the American Massage Championships and may be used on the website, in print and in social media for advertisement of the Festival and the American Massage Championship.

All registrants MUST check the boxes on their registration form that they have read, understood and will abide by the Festival Refund/Cancellation Policy and the Mask/Vaccination Policy (as stated below). No registration will be accepted and no attendance at Festival will be permitted without this acknowledgement and agreement to the terms of the Refund/Cancellation Policy and the Mask/Vaccination Policy.

MASKING & VACCINATION POLICY AT WMF

UNLESS IT IS REQUIRED BY HARRAHS CHEROKEE, face masks and/or COVID vaccinations will NOT be required to attend the WMF. By the same token, if you prefer to wear a mask, please feel free to do so. This is a personal decision. Whatever YOUR particular choice, the World Massage Festival WILL NOT tolerate any harassment - either by those wearing a mask/vaccinated or those choosing not to wear a mask/unvaccinated. THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!! Any violation by anyone causing ANY trouble at all with someone else over their mask/vaccine decision will be met with IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT REMOVAL from the Festival. THERE WILL BE ZERO TOLERANCE OF THIS! By registering, you are agreeing to abide by this policy and any outcome decided solely at the discretion of the promoters and owners of the Festival.
