FESTIVAL CHECKLIST

The goal of the World Massage Festival is to provide all therapists with an opportunity to study with the leaders of the massage profession at a cost that is affordable. We believe every massage therapist should be able to learn from the masters and we do our best to make it happen. The World Massage Festival makes a concerted effort to steer clear of politics. In fact, Festival, for some, is a retreat FROM the politics of the profession. Therapists find it refreshing that we concentrate on providing them a chance to learn from the best in a pleasant, casual and fun environment with no judgments being made about anything.

What are the major things you would like to get out of Festival?
	Network and take classes with the members of the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame and other leaders in the profession.
	Sample and order new products, as well as old favorites, through classes and in the vending hall
	Learn new techniques and earn CEs
	"Test Drive" new classes for your toolkit (through our Fast Track program) to see if you want to pursue them further
	Meet up with old friends and/or make new ones

What to Bring We want you to relax and enjoy Festival, so dress is casual...shorts, jeans, yoga pants, whatever makes you most comfortable
	Monday is our keynote address and industry awards. Formal attire for Monday is TIE-DYE! So, don't forget to pack your tie-dye t-shirt!
	There is a lot of walking - BRING A TABLE CART - the hotel will take your table to your room, but they WILL NOT carry it for you to classrooms!
	A light jacket or sweater (It can be cool sometimes in the classrooms and vending hall - THE TEMPERATURES IN THESE ROOMS CANNOT BE ADJUSTED!!!!)

	Saturday and Sunday - The American Massage Championships for those registered to compete.
	Sunday - Kick-off Party
	Monday - Parade of Flags
	Monday - Keynote Speech. Monday is also Tie-Dye day
	Tuesday - Massage Therapy Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Help us honor those who have built the bridges for the profession.
	Wednesday - Karaoke! It is always standing room only....one not to miss!
	Thursday - Closing Ceremony. Join us and IMAGINE a world of peace.
	Thursday - Color Powder Party after the Closing Ceremony.
Exhibit Hall We are the only massage convention in the profession that offers a full day of vending with no classes to attend! Our vendors offer a wide variety of products and services and the vendors are happy to spend time talking with you. Many will offer special discounts only available at Festival, so come prepared to get the best value for your dollars.

All registered therapists names are included in the drawings. Each day one name will be drawn for $500 cash.
