Justin Kobbe Solace


Justin Kobbe Solace is passionate about helping people get out of persistent pain and lead a full and healthy life. This passion drives him to find the most effective treatment possible for his clients even if this means referring to another healthcare provider. His knowledge is complimented by his ability to coach his clients through obstacles that are holding them back from success.

Justin holds a masters of Kinesiology, BA in Psychology, is a Board Certified Massage Therapist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Orthopedic Massage therapist, certified in Myoskeletal Alignment. Justin has been involved with healthcare since 2007 combining manual therapy, movement, exercise and education to achieve long lasting results with his clients.

In addition to his rehab work Justin teaches locally as well as across the country with some of the industry's leading educators. These experiences allow him to continually deepen and refine his knowledge through the interaction with the worlds leading researches and clinicians on a continual basis.

Clinical Evaluation: Identifying Red and Yellow Flags

More people are seeking out massage therapy to help with complaints of pain and injury. To provide safe and effective care it is essential for the massage therapist to have a solid understanding of assessment to identify any potential red flags and ensure they are providing safe and appropriate interventions.

This class provides an overview of the various types of assessment and teaches specific tools for identifying the most common complaints treated with massage therapy.

At the end of this class students will be able to:
  • Provide thorough verbal intake to identify barriers and set goals
  • Provide a thorough visual evaluation
  • Provide a thorough physical evaluation
  • Identify and palpate anatomical structures with confidence
  • Identify and discuss red and yellow flags
  • Match self-care strategies to evaluation findings
  • Create a referral network when referral is most appropriate
